There are different way (types)
of parties and they can be easily done to suit
the Hostess and you as the consultant. *Regular
In Home Parties. Hostess invites her friends,
family
and neighbors.
You
can choose a theme for these also
*Double In Home parties- Have 2 friends
do their parties
together at 1 of their
houses. Less work for both plus 1 can
be a booking for the other. One
cleans her house and the other
brings the refreshments!
*Pizza Parties - This can
be done with 2 or more Hostesses!
Plus you can always ask another
consultant to do it with you and
you both ask 2 hostesses to do
it. Have a quarter drawing to
help offset the cost of the pizza. Most
Hostesses will gladly pay
for the guests soda!
*Bunko parties - Usually 12
people get together and each
pays $5-$10 for the evening and the hostess
having the bunko
party gets prizes. Have the Hostess
collect the money and the
winners get to use it $ spending it out of
your catalogs PLUS the
hostess gets credit for it as sales!
*Catalog Party You give the
Hostess catalogs and order forms for a week or
two then meet with her and collect the orders
as you would a reg. party. Offering an
incentive like get 12 orders and you will
receive xyz is helpful in catalog parties.
*Catalog Party with a " take a
look Basket" of merchandise for
the
hostess to show her friend and even take to
work
*An inventory
sheet of what is in the basket can be beneficial!
Plus put a tag on each item with
page number in the catalog on it
*Mystery Hostess Party
Send out invitations to a home show at
your house. You can also have merchandise for
sale like an open house. Have everyone who
orders lace their name in the basket and at
the end draw out a name for the Mystery
Hostess Winner. She then gets to choose the
party sales free merchandise amount in free
merchandise! * I never charged them a 2nd
shipping!
* Couple Parties Why
leave the men out? Allot will see things they
like, plus it is a great time for the
women to show the men
what they would like as gifts! Place
extra business cards on the
tables so the men can grab one and call
if they want to surprise
their women and don't want to ask them
for your number!
